TESTIMONIALS

Below are testimonials from some of our many dedicated students and parents

"My son, Zachary has attended the EHKA After School Program, Summer Camps, and evening training classes for the past five years. When I am at work, I do not have to worry about him...EHKA gives me piece of mind. EHKA gives the kids the confidence they need to excel through positive influence, self-esteem and encouragement . The instructors and staff at Earl Harris are highly experienced and give personal attention to the children. I am proud to say that under the direction of Grandmaster Harris and Mr. Keon Pinkney, Zachary trained and worked hard to achieve his black belt rank. Our experience at EHKA has been phenomenal.

Earl Harris Karate Academy is committed each and every day to our children.  Chandler will be our 3rd child to attend your karate school in 7 years and there is no doubt that the positive influence you have given our children will remain with them for the rest of their lives.  We are thankful that you are in our community.  God has given you a gift to help strengthen our children and build their self confidence and character and we are very grateful and appreciative for that!

My son, Evan, has been a student at E.H.K.A. for over three years now. During this time, he has not only earned the rank of 1st degree Black Belt but has also achieved self-discipline, increased focus, goal setting, perseverance, and an increase in self-confidence. Evan has developed important leadership skills, including the ability to speak and perform comfortably in front of groups, focus under pressure, and to respect and support others.     Grandmaster Earl Harris is exceptionally accomplished in his field. His success carries over to his concern and ability to teach his students. Master Harris takes great pride in his students and in his school with good reason. Notably, the instructors at E.H.K.A. are also very committed, experienced and accomplished.     My son has had nothing but positive experiences at E.H.K.A. He has benefitted in so many ways, and at the same time has had fun! Susan Hauser

Our relationship with Earl Harris Karate Academy began as a suggestion of a neighbor. Although he did not have any children to attend the academy, he had heard good things about the karate school. That occurred over four years ago when Alex was five years old. The warmth and caring we received that first day has only intensified since that time. There is a spirit of kinship between the students, instructors, and parents. From the practices to tournaments, the Earl Harris Karate Academy family is in full force to support each other. The karate school not only teaches the techniques of the martial arts but also life lessons. They discuss the tenets of tae kwon do at each class which talks about having good character. They encourage the students to do well in school and reward them for doing so. Alex is now ten years old and has no thought about quitting karate. Since being at Earl Harris Karate Academy, he has more self confidence and zeal to succeed. He loves the owners, his instructors and fellow classmates. What more could a parent want than to know that their child is more than just a patron of a business but a part of a loving extended family. I am thankful for the vision that Earl Harris had to start such a spectacular school.

Dear EHKA Family,
I just wanted you to know how grateful we are that you take such good care of our son. Kyle has grown up
with you and has developed into a respectful teen. It seems like the past 7 years have flown by. Through the
awkward moments, peer pressure at school, and the identity crises of our youth, EHKA has been the
constant motivation that has proved to be one of the keys to Kyle's success. He has made great friends
through your school and the instructors instill a confidence in him that will carry him through out his
high school days. There is an abundance of activities that Kyle can involve himself in and I have always
felt secure in knowing that you will take care of him when he is with you. Thank you so much for being
genuine people that run a business truly dedicated to the well being of our whole family.
Sincerely,
Helen Cutlip-Hoge

We came to Earl Harris Karate Academy through one of my co-workers who happened to be one of their senior instructors.  Our oldest son, who was only 4 years old at the time, went to his first class.  We thought it would be very beneficial for him.  They immediately took him under their wings and made him feel so good about himself that it made our other son, who was only two and half years old, want to disrupt the class just to get in with his big brother and do everything that he was doing.  Wouldn’t you know it, they quickly recognized to get him to stop that, they suggested that if we wouldn’t mind, they would do some simple exercises that he saw his big brother doing before and after class.  He simple loved it and ended up being their youngest student to pursue his own challenge in obtaining a “Black Belt”.

If you are looking for this type of school that is caring and believes in every student, then you have come to the right place.  They care about each one of their students as if they were one of their own children.  They will work with you in helping your child reach what some might think is the impossible goal.  They will be by your family’s side whenever you think your child will never get to the next step and quickly without hesitation give of themselves.  What they instill in your child, one would only hope and pray for it. We are proud to give our recommendation for Earl Harris Karate Academy and welcome you to our extended family.
